This is the brand’s first presentation in Paris. The Tokyo-based Taiwanese designer Shueh Jen-Fang launched her label in 2011 and has garnered a cult following since.

The models communed in a circle at Crêperie Gigi, capturing Shueh Jen-Fang’s vision of the Jenny Fax girl/woman--diverse in opinion, body-shape, age, and in relationship with one another. Sometimes they lapsed into a forlorn gaze or smiled, free to express how they felt.

Nails were done by @nailsbymei. The Lolita inspired looks were made in collaboration with Angelic Pretty--the Harajuku apparel store that has fostered the subcultural aesthetic since the opening of its flagship in 1979.

The presentation featured 3-D printed accessories by Archived Prototypes.

Shueh dressed the models in silicone corsets made from a 3D scan of her own body in the spirit of coming as you are.
She created the corset for an earlier project commissioned by Victoria’s Secret.

Rough nails and gum details are on theme with Jenny Fax’s call to women to come “as you are.”

Ponytails decorated with chewing gum and cigarettes were only a few of the novel details you could spend hours gawking at, and I almost did until I got kicked out (in the nicest way of course, offered a drink and a seat). Fair enough, the line outside was long and everyone deserved a turn to join the circle!

Susie Bubble, Princess Gollum, Petra Collins, and Kristen Bateman were on site.
